"City Ballet is definitely a blessing to the dancers, families, and community!"
This is the first year my daughters danced in the Nutcracker with the City Ballet. My daughters and I are so blessed to be a part of the City Ballet dance family! The City Ballet dancers not only dance beautifully but are beautiful inside - I witnessed compassion, unending support and encouragement, kindness, love, and respect between the dancers. And the mothers with whom I had the opportunity to talk and work were amazingly committed, strong, and kind. I thank all of you - dancers and moms - for showing me your joy and positive outlook....it's contagious! I must also commend Andrea Hill for fostering and modeling the behaviors and attitudes I experienced from the entire dance family - Andrea Hill and the City Ballet is definitely a blessing to the dancers, families, and community! Leap of faith...“Thank you so much for a wonderful year of dance. We took a huge leap of faith last year changing dance schools. I can honestly say that not even once in the last year have I regretted our decision. I am so grateful that we found City Ballet. I know that you truly care about the health and well being of each and every student. Your corrections are not only made with kindness, but you give each student a full explanation for the correction that results in beautiful dancers. We are so glad that Mackenzie now dances the "City Ballet" way!”

-Wilmington parent Positive corrections, a fresh approach...“After attending just one class at City Ballet of Wilmington, my daughter was able to overcome many areas of struggle she had been having for years. We love that corrections are made in a positive manner and there is encouragement and time provided to make the correction. With corrections are detailed explanations on why the correction is needed, what part of the body needs to be used, and patience is put into the process until it is correct. My daughter is receiving a fresh approach on her dancing, it is exactly what she needed. We are grateful for City Ballet of Wilmington and are excited for the wonderful future they bring to town!”
